As dog owners, we spent so much time thinking about what went into our dogs' bowls, only to find that when it came to treats, the options weren't quite what we were looking for.

Long ingredient lists. Preservatives. Ingredients we couldn't recognise.

And as the owner of two rescue pups, Nala and Naji,  one of whom has always had a sensitive tummy, finding treats that were both healthy and enjoyable felt even harder.

What began in our kitchen as a way to give our dogs something better quickly became a passion. We experimented with different proteins, ingredients and recipes, always keeping things simple and always putting our dogs first.

Over the next three years, I continued learning, testing and refining recipes while completing my certification in dog nutrition. The more I learned, the more convinced I became that dogs deserve treats made with the same care and thought we put into the rest of their diet.

Today, every recipe is still guided by the same principles that inspired those very first batches.

Just simple, nutritious treats that are versatile and can be used as rewards, for training or be added to their meals.

As a certified dog nutritionist, I'm passionate about helping owners make informed choices about what they feed their dogs. But I'm also a dog mum, which means every product has to pass two very important tests - is it nutritious? And will dogs actually get excited about it?

Thankfully, our furry quality control team takes their role very seriously!
